Do I have to have previous dance experience or know how to swing dance to come to one of your dances?
* Absolutely not! That’s what the free lesson is for- we’ll teach you the basic moves so you can go out there and have a good time!
What is KSU Swing Dance Association?
* We’re a registered student organization on campus at Kennesaw State University, devoted to learning and teaching others about the amazing art of swing dancing. Please read our About section for more info.

Who is allowed to come to our dances?
* Anyone and everyone! Our dances are not age specific. We do draw a typically college-age crowd, but there is no minimum or maximum limits on the age of who can attend our dances. We are smoke and alcohol free and work very hard to keep the atmosphere of our dances appropriate for everyone.
When are your dances, and where?
* Our dances are generally held once a month, located on campus at KSU in the KSU Student Center. Once you’re in the student center, look for the university rooms on the lower level.
What should I wear to the dance?
* You will see a wide variety of really dressed up to dressy-casual. Some people even wear jeans and a t-shirt. I personally prefer to wear a skirt that swishes when I spin. Ladies, be forewarned- if you wear a skirt/dress, PLEASE remember to wear shorts or leggings underneath!
Main advice- just wear whatever you’re comfortable moving around in! We recommend shoes that have a strap or laces and will stay on your feet (aka converses, keds, toms, etc), and also have some “slidey” action (like a rubbery sole).

* Membership is renewed every semester. If you have not already purchased both fall and spring semester, please feel free to join Spring semester for just $12.
